Year-Round Climate Control

Four Modes. One System.

A single Worcester Bosch air conditioning system installed by LPS gives you four modes in one unit - cooling in summer, efficient heating in winter, year-round ventilation and humidity control. No separate boiler needed, no extra equipment, just one quietly efficient system that keeps every room comfortable whatever the weather.

  • Cooling Mode

Keeps rooms cool and comfortable during warm weather. Rapid temperature drop with turbo mode.

  • Heating Mode

Efficient heating when temperatures drop - with no separate boiler or heating system required.

  • Ventilation Mode

Runs the indoor fan without heating or cooling, improving air circulation and reducing stuffiness in the room.

  • Dehumidifier Mode

Adjusts humidity to the optimum level for any time of year, preventing dampness and condensation

Simple by design

How does air conditioning work?

A split system air conditioner has just two parts - a compact indoor unit that conditions the air in your room, and an outdoor unit that does the hard work outside. The two are connected by a small pipe running through the wall, meaning installation is clean, quick and causes minimal disruption to your home.

  • Inside your home

    Indoor Unit

Mounted high on the wall, the indoor unit distributes cool or warm air evenly across the room.

Bosch Climate systems operate as quietly as 19 dB in silent mode – unobtrusive enough for a bedroom and quiet enough that you’ll forget it’s there.

Inside the unit, an evaporator coil and filter work together to condition and clean the air as it circulates.

Every system comes with a remote control as standard, and the Bosch Climate 7000i also includes Wi-Fi connectivity so you can adjust the temperature from your phone – useful if you want to cool a room down before you arrive home, or turn the heating on before getting out of bed.

Because each indoor unit operates independently, you can set a different temperature in each room and only run the system where you actually need it, which keeps energy use – and your bills – as low as possible.

  • Outside your home

    Outdoor Unit

The outdoor unit is the engine of the system, doing the heavy lifting outside so the indoor unit can focus on keeping your room comfortable.

It works by extracting heat from inside your home and releasing it into the outside air – or in heating mode, drawing warmth from the outside air and transferring it in.

Inside the casing, a condenser coil, expansion valve, fan and refrigerant circuit work continuously to move heat in whichever direction you need.

Despite the amount of work going on inside, modern outdoor units are compact and relatively quiet – and because they sit outside, you won’t hear them from indoors.

The outdoor unit can be wall-mounted on the exterior of your property, placed on a flat roof or balcony, or sat on the ground in a garden or yard.

During your free site survey, we’ll assess the best position for your specific property – taking into account access, aesthetics and any relevant planning considerations.

Air Conditioning FAQs

A. Our preferred brand is Worcester Bosch — as accredited installers, every Bosch Climate system we fit comes with a 5 or 7-year parts and labour warranty, and in our experience they offer outstanding reliability and efficiency.

We can also supply, install and service systems from other leading manufacturers including Mitsubishi, Daikin, Hitachi and Samsung.

Whatever your requirements and budget, we’ll recommend the best system for your property. Give our team a call on 01943 879932 and we’ll be happy to help.

A. No – we only install fixed split systems and multi-split systems.

Fixed systems are significantly more reliable, more energy efficient and more environmentally friendly than portable units.

They also don’t require an open window or door, which improves both security and efficiency.

A. It depends on the size and layout of your property.

A single wall-mounted unit is generally effective for one room.

For larger or multi-storey homes, a multi-split system – which connects several indoor units to one outdoor condenser – is usually the most cost-effective whole-home solution.

We always carry out a free site survey before making any recommendation.

A. Yes – we have a Bosch Climate air conditioning system installed and running in our showroom at 20 Otley Road, Guiseley.

Call in during opening hours and one of our team will be happy to demonstrate the system and let you experience both the cooling and heating functions for yourself.

Our showroom is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
(Excluding Bank Holidays)

A. No – domestic air conditioning installations currently qualify for 0% VAT under a government energy efficiency scheme that runs until 31 March 2027.

This saving applies to both the equipment and the installation labour, typically saving homeowners several hundred pounds.

A. In most cases, no.

A standard wall-mounted or split air conditioning system is typically classed as permitted development and does not require planning permission.

However, if your property is listed, in a conservation area, or a flat, you may need to check with your local planning authority.

We’ll advise you on this during the free site survey.

A. Annual servicing by a certified engineer is a condition of the Worcester Bosch 5 to 7-year warranty.

If the system is not serviced annually, Worcester Bosch reserve the right to reduce or invalidate the guarantee.

Beyond the warranty, regular servicing can save up to 30% on energy running costs, extend system lifespan by 5–10 years, and allows our engineers to spot problems before they become expensive repairs.

A. A well-maintained air conditioning system typically lasts between 10 and 15 years.

Annual professional servicing significantly extends this lifespan and maintains efficiency throughout.

LPS offer maintenance plans to keep your system in peak condition year after year.

A. Modern inverter-driven systems are very quiet.

All Bosch Climate systems include a dedicated silent mode designed for use overnight.

Indoor units typically operate at noise levels of around 19 to 30 dB — quieter than a quiet conversation and significantly quieter than most household appliances.

A. Yes. All Bosch Climate systems include a built-in air purifying filter that removes up to 95% of dust, pollen, smoke and other airborne particles.

This can make a significant difference to indoor air quality, particularly for people who suffer from hay fever, asthma or dust allergies.

A. Yes – we service and repair all makes and models of air conditioning systems, including those installed by other companies.

Our engineers are F-Gas certified and experienced across a wide range of manufacturers including Worcester Bosch, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Hitachi and Samsung.

If you have a system that needs a service or repair, give us a call on 01943 879932 and we’ll be happy to help.
